Robert Diskint was admitted to the New York Bar in 1970 and the California Bar in 1979. He graduated from Cornell University in 1966 and NYU School of Law (one of the top five law schools in the country) in 1969.
He worked as an associate at a Wall Street firm and then as an entertainment lawyer in Manhattan before becoming a public defender in Brooklyn for seven years. He handled every kind of criminal case imaginable and gained a wealth of trial experience. Since coming to California and forming Critchlow & Diskint with Richard Critchlow in 1982 he has continued to represent individuals and businesses in all matters of litigation, both criminal and civil.
He has tried more than fifty criminal and civil jury cases to verdict and has consistently obtained substantial recoveries (including many seven figure amounts) for his personal injury clients. He has extensive experience in business, employment, real estate & construction, and will & trust litigation as well as other areas of civil litigation. He has tried every kind of criminal case, with substantial experience in DUI and domestic violence cases.
